Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British four-engine long-range airliner Vickers Super VC10 (Type 1154) in 1:144 scale from Roden. This edition carries decals in the colors of East African Airways. The model has to be assembled, glued and painted.
The Vickers VC10 was a British long-range airliner that first flew in 1962. It was designed for long routes with demanding airfields and stood out for its performance taking off from high-altitude and hot African airfields. The Super VC10 version had a lengthened fuselage and is among the most elegant airliners of its generation.
The small scale puts the emphasis on clean gluing and sanding of the fuselage seams. A thin cement for plastic, a primer and a smooth gloss base under the decals of the civil livery are all recommended. Pick out the chrome and polished surfaces with a suitable metallic paint; apply metallic shades over a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
