The Aber 1:16 photo-etched commander's cupola interior for the Tiger I, Ausf.E, early version refines the inside of the commander's cupola on a large model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set in photo-etched metal from Aber in 1:16 scale for the inside of the commander's cupola of the German Tiger I, Ausf.E heavy tank in its early form. It is not a tank model but metal detail for the interior of the commander's cupola.
The early Tigers had a cylindrical commander's cupola with vision slits. With the hatch open the inside is right in view, and photo-etched detail (holders, the catches of the vision slits, fine stiffeners) looks truer than injection-molded plastic.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade, form the bends on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, or soft solder them. Spray the inside of the cupola with a primer and a light interior color, then bring the detail out with a wash and dry-brushing.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a tank model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
