A detail set in photo-etched metal from Aber in 1:16 scale with the details of the driver's hatch of the German Tiger I, Ausf.E heavy tank. It is not a tank model but metal detail for the hatch and its surroundings, replacing the coarser plastic elements from a base kit.
The driver's hatch on the front plate of the hull is right in view. Photo-etched hinges, holders and fine stiffeners look truer than injection-molded plastic and let you show the hatch open if you wish.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade, form the bends on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, or soft solder them. Once the primer is on, dry-brushing and a fine wash in the recesses will bring out the small details.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a tank model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
