Responsibility details are not available.
This is a red shade from the Mr.Paint range, listed in the line for the landing gear covers of the Su-27, Su-35 and Su-37 aircraft. On a model it is a small but conspicuous area, which stands out markedly from the rest of the finish of the machine and is clearly visible from below as well as when looking at a standing model. The paint is meant for spraying with an airbrush.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before work, so that the pigment settled at the bottom disperses through the whole volume. Saturated red shades cover less well than most other paints, so lay them over a light surface and build them from several thin layers rather than one heavy one. Let the paint set between layers. Mask the surrounding areas beforehand, press the masking tape down along the edge and spray from the edge inwards, so that the paint does not creep under. Before decals, go over the area with gloss varnish and finally unify the finished surface according to how matte it should be.
Work in a well-ventilated space, best by a spray booth, and use a respirator and gloves. Do not leave the bottle open longer than necessary and close it carefully after work, or the paint will thicken. Store it upright, in a cool place, out of direct sunlight, away from sources of sparks and out of the reach of children. Flush the airbrush immediately after spraying, while the remaining paint is still wet.
The shade will be appreciated by modelers of Russian and Soviet jets who want the small colored areas of the landing gear in the right tone. The model, an airbrush and thinner are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
