The set contains fine metal parts that add the small casting numbers carried by the real cast links to the track links of a large scale model of the Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) tank. It is not a model of the tank but a very fine detail accessory for a demanding collector build in 1:16 scale. It is made by the Polish company Aber, a specialist in photo-etched and turned metal details.
Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) was the German designation of a light tank of Czechoslovak origin (CKD/Praga, the TNH type). The individual cast track links of the real vehicles carried small production and casting numbers that are usually missing on a model; adding them brings the running gear up to collector standard.
Work with tweezers and good lighting, as the parts are very small. Use a drop of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) to attach them. We recommend bringing the detail out with a fine wash or with drybrushing so that the numbers show once painted. Degrease the parts before painting.
This is a supplementary metal set, not a model in itself. The base kit, the tracks, glue and paints are not included in the package.
