This detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale holds the towing shackles for the early model of the German Pz.Kpfw.V Panther medium tank. Metal parts replace the soft and less accurate plastic shackles with a truer shape and suit the front as well as the rear brackets of the hull. It is not a model but an accessory.
Towing shackles served to attach tow cables and to recover a vehicle. On the Panther they sat on the brackets of the hull and are among the small but functionally and visually important elements that are easy to notice on a large model.
The set will be appreciated by builders of large Panther models (the early type) who want accurate and sturdy towing shackles. Working with small metal parts calls for a more experienced modeler.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
