Aber smoke grenade launchers for the rear five-grenade rack (1:16) is a turned and photo-etched metal set that faithfully replaces the smoke dischargers on German armored vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This metal detail set from the Polish maker Aber portrays in 1:16 scale the smoke grenade launchers (Nebelwurfgerät) arranged in the rear rack for five grenades that a whole range of German tanks of the Second World War carried. The set combines turned metal barrels of the dischargers with photo-etched brackets and replaces the simplified plastic parts with a faithful metal version with open muzzles.
In the middle phase of the war German tanks were fitted with sets of smoke dischargers that laid a screen when the vehicle was threatened. The dischargers were mounted in groups, here in a rack of five grenades; it is a prominent and easily recognized feature of the rear of the vehicle.
Join the turned barrels and the photo-etched brackets with cyanoacrylate glue or by soldering. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer; bring out the muzzles of the dischargers with a darker shade and a light wash so that the relief shows.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a model of a vehicle. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
