GasPatch models 1:35 Villar Perosa M1915 (pair) is a resin set of two Italian twin-barrel weapons for dioramas and figure scenes. An accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings a pair of Villar Perosa M1915 weapons in 1:35 scale, cast in resin. It is not a kit but an armament accessory for a diorama, a figure scene or a display case. The 1:35 scale is the home of military vehicles and figures, so the set will serve best where you want to equip a figure with a period-correct weapon or round out mountain and trench scenes of the First World War. Resin holds the sharp edges and fine elements that would be lost in injected plastic.
The Villar Perosa M1915 was an Italian automatic weapon with two barrels side by side, chambered for a pistol cartridge. Originally it was to serve aerial observers and mountain units: it was light, compact and fired extremely fast. The high rate of fire meant, however, that the magazines were empty within a few seconds, and so in practice the weapon was used from rests, mounts and a tray carried by the crew. Its design became the starting point for single-barrel derivatives, which are counted among the first submachine guns.
Before painting, wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release agent disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a cutting disc; resin must not be broken, as it cracks. Do the sanding wet and with your airways protected. They are bonded with super glue, and on larger surfaces with a slower-setting one. Start the painting with a thin primer, continue with a dark metallic shade and carefully pick the edges out with a dry brush or graphite. In 1:35 scale it pays to add a fine wash into the hollows so that the detail stands out.
The set is an accessory, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
