1:24 60~70’s Accessory Set D

What the set solves

A diorama stands on the small things around the main model, because it is precisely they that show the time and the place of the action. This set is a set of accessories for a diorama in 1:24 scale and its subject is bounded by the 1960s and 1970s. A setting of that time calls for different equipment, different packaging and a different shape of objects than the present day, so the set makes the work easier for anyone who is building a scene from that period and does not want to make every small thing himself.

What is documented about the contents

The specific list of items is given by the manufacturer on the packaging of the set. The letter D at the end of the name distinguishes one variant within the line; the sibling sets have different contents. Before buying, go by the manufacturer's data on the packaging, so that you know how many pieces and which items you get and whether they can fill a whole scene or will serve as a supplement to what you already have.

Building and painting tips

Try the arrangement dry first and only then glue it, because a few objects in the right place look more believable than a heaped pile. The material of the parts is given by the manufacturer on the packaging; choose the glue according to what the parts are made of and test it in an inconspicuous place. Degrease the surfaces before painting, cover in thin coats and vary the shades slightly so that the objects do not look as if they came from one batch. Keep the final dirtying to the places where dirt collects in reality too.

Terms of supply
