Calendar 2003 is a printed paper accessory for a diorama in 1:24 scale — a wall calendar for an interior scene. It is not a kit and not a decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
A wall calendar belongs among the details that make an interior scene habitable: a workshop, a garage, an office or the back of a service shop look markedly more alive for it. The sheet is printed on paper, so you work it with a scalpel and glue. It is not a waterslide decal and not a kit, and it needs no assembly.
A calendar in 1:24 scale matches figures and vehicles in the same scale. In a scene it works best where the viewer's eye goes: on the wall above a workbench, by a door or on a post. A little distance from the main model is usually better than placing it directly behind it. It is worth thinking the layout through against the actual size of the print.
Cut the design out with a sharp scalpel along a ruler and go over the edges with a pencil or a colored pencil in the shade of the print. Glue it with a thin layer of PVA glue; cyanoacrylate glue soaks through and dulls the paper unevenly. The paper can be bowed slightly so that it does not hang perfectly flat — damping the back lightly and weighting it into shape will help. A thinned brown wash stippled along the edges gives the look of age, as does a light pass with a dry brush. Finally spray it with matte varnish so that the sheen matches the surrounding surfaces.
This is a printed paper accessory for a diorama, not a model. Glue, paints and other scenery are not included in the package. The design is intended for adult collectors.
