An injection-molded plastic model of the small Japanese car Honda N360 (NI) in racing specification, in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa. It is a limited edition that reproduces a private racing conversion of this kei car. Besides the body the package contains parts typical of a circuit version: over-fenders, a roll bar, a sport seat, a steering wheel and special wheels. A decal sheet for period racing colors is included.
The Honda N360 was a light kei car introduced in 1967. It was powered by a small air-cooled twin mounted at the front with front-wheel drive; its low weight and economy made it a popular and influential car in Japan's postwar motorization. Thanks to its agility and availability it became a favorite basis for private circuit racing, where it received exactly these conversions to the body and the chassis.
Glue the body and the plastic parts with thin modeling cement for plastic, and fill and sand the body joints. Apply a primer before painting; spray the body finish in thin coats with an airbrush and apply the decals onto a smooth gloss surface, or coat them over with varnish. Glue the chrome and clear (glazing) parts at the very end, so that they do not cloud; paint and assemble the interior, the seat and the roll bar before closing the body up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
