A plastic kit of the Japanese sports coupe Nissan Skyline KPGC10 GT-R of 1971 in 1:24 scale from the manufacturer Fujimi. The model captures the first generation of the Skyline GT-R in the two-door hardtop form, known among enthusiasts by the nickname Hakosuka. The package holds a nameplate for displaying the finished model.
The Skyline GT-R of the KPGC10 generation is one of the icons of Japanese motoring at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. It was powered by the S20 inline six-cylinder engine with DOHC valve gear and four valves per cylinder, derived from racing engines. The car collected victories in domestic circuit racing and laid the foundation of the legend of the GT-R designation. The two-door version was lighter and sportier than the original four-door sedan.
Use liquid cement for plastic and dry-fit the parts first. On a model of this kind, a carefully laid gloss clear coat on the body followed by polishing really shows, together with chrome details on the trim strips and the bumpers. We recommend masking the glazing and the interior with your own tapes. The panel lines can be brought out with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
