The fabric cockpit seatbelts HGW 1:24 Luftwaffe Fighters (the early type) replace plastic or decal belts with faithful fabric parts of microtextile with photo-etched fittings for large-scale models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail set of cockpit seat belts, not a model of the airplane. The universal set reproduces the early type of seat belt of German fighters of that era, in the large 1:24 scale. It replaces flat plastic or decal belts with parts of real microtextile completed by photo-etched buckles.
German fighters of the beginning of the Second World War used multi-point seat belts with characteristic metal buckles in their cockpits. In the large 1:24 scale the cockpit and the belts are conspicuously visible, so flat plastic or a mere decal is unconvincing here. The set is not tied to one particular type but reproduces the early standard of belts common to German fighters of that time.
Choose the shade of the belt, cut the parts out along the marked line with a sharp knife and then shorten them to the length needed. Work the fabric briefly between your fingers so that it takes on natural folds, and thread it through the photo-etched buckles. Glue with PVA glue (white glue) and do not use super glue or any other aggressive glue, which could damage the fabric or the plastic.
This is not a complete model. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit; it serves as an accessory to a base model.
