An injection-molded plastic kit of the iconic Nissan Skyline of the Hakosuka generation in the wide-track Liberty Walk conversion. The model in 1:24 scale from the Japanese company Aoshima captures the characteristic riveted fender flares, the front spoiler and the low-slung stance. The body is a two-door one (curbside, without a detailed engine), the parts are injection-molded in several colors including chrome-plated and clear parts, and a decal sheet is included as well.
The third-generation Skyline (C10) from the turn of the 1960s and 1970s was given the nickname Hakosuka (the boxy Skyline) among fans. It is an adored basis of the Japanese sports and tuning scene. The Liberty Walk conversion adds extremely wide fenders and aggressive aerodynamics to it in the spirit of the modern JDM shakotan style.
Use liquid modeling cement on the joints of the plastic, treat the body with a surfacer before painting and spray it with an airbrush. Glue the chrome-plated parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) after scraping the chrome off at the joint. We recommend a gloss clear coat under the decals and then a matte finish to taste.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
