A plastic kit of the racing Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1 in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. This is a special version named after the character Sakon Hayase from a cult Japanese racing manga of the 1970s, in which this turbocharged special was one of the most feared rivals.
The Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1 is a factory racing special from the middle of the 1970s and one of the first turbocharged racing cars of the marque. A flat-six of roughly 2.1 liters with a turbocharger gave over 400 horsepower, and the body was completed by massive fenders and a large rear wing. The car became famous in endurance racing including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and was the forerunner of the famous turbo Porsches of the following years.
Spray the body over a light base so that the racing shades stand out, and give it a gloss coat before applying the decals. Let the decals settle properly with a decal softener, especially on the curved fenders. The chassis and the interior come out well in matte and semi-gloss shades, the exhausts and the mechanics in metallic colors.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
