The subject is the classic Toyota Celica 1600 GT in racing trim, that is the first-generation sports coupe in a form prepared for the circuits. The model joins a prized Japanese classic with the racing look of its day.
The first-generation Toyota Celica is among the icons of Japanese motoring at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The 1600 GT version with its more powerful engine was committed to competition as well, and its racing conversions carried the typical accessories, wider wheels and sponsor markings. The car is a fixture among collectors of Japanese classics.
Spray the body in thin coats over a base and finish with a clear coat for gloss. Apply the racing decals and the sponsor logos over a perfectly glossy base and seal them with varnish. Set the wheels and the tires apart with masking, and complete the interior by distinguishing the seats and the roll cage. Glue with thin cement for plastic, and with care on the clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
