An injection-molded plastic kit of the Toyota Supra sports coupe of the A70 generation in the 3.0GT Turbo Limited version of 1988, in 1:24 scale from the Japanese company Hasegawa. The model adds to the collectors' range of historical Japanese cars in which the manufacturer maps the domestic coupes and sedans of the 1980s. The number of parts, the exact contents of the package and the extent of the decals are stated on the box and in the enclosed instructions.
The Supra of the A70 generation was built from the mid-1980s as a model in its own right, that is, no longer tied to the Celica line. The body was a long coupe with a wedge-shaped nose, pop-up headlights and rear-wheel drive. The top Japanese versions were powered by a three-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, on which the 3.0GT Turbo variant was based as well. The Limited designation belonged to the better equipped form offered on the domestic market.
The pop-up headlights and their covers call for careful fitting; try them dry before painting. Paint the body over a primer in thin coats and polish the gloss coat once it has cured. Mask the black trim, the window frames and the lower sections and spray them separately. Finish the interior, the chassis and the wheels before you close the body up, apply the decals onto a gloss base and fix them with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
