HGW 1:32 A6M5c Zero – raised rivets are wet rivet transfers that give a model of the Japanese fighter a raised, three-dimensional look of riveting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of so-called raised rivets in 1:32 scale for a model of the Japanese fighter A6M5c Zero. These are wet rivet transfers, that is thin decals with raised, three-dimensional rivets applied with water onto the surface of a model. The result is fine raised riveting of a kind that is not easily reached by engraving or with paint. It is not a kit and not ordinary markings.
The A6M5c was one of the later versions of the famous Japanese carrier-based fighter Zero of the period of the Second World War. Compared with the earlier versions it had stronger armament and better protection. The Zero was among the best known Japanese fighters of the war in the Pacific.
Clean the surface of the model and, if needed, coat it with gloss varnish. Apply the transfers like wet decals, press them down gently once settled and let them dry. The area can then be oversprayed with matte varnish so that the rivets blend naturally into the surface.
This is a modeling accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
