A brass photo-etched detail set 1:32 AEG G.IV – engine for a faithful treatment of the inline engine of the German bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of brass photo-etched parts for refining the engine of the twin-engined bomber AEG G.IV in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory to a plastic kit – it adds fine details of the engine ancillaries and piping that cannot be cast in plastic.
The AEG G.IV was a German twin-engined biplane bomber of the First World War. It was powered by a pair of water-cooled Mercedes inline engines placed in nacelles between the wings. On a model with the panels left open, the engine is a prominent part on view.
Separate the parts carefully and form the bends over a metal ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy. Degrease the brass, spray it with a metal primer and then paint the engine with metallic shades and a wash to bring out the detail.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
