The etched set HGW 1:32 AEG G.IV - Exterior adds fine external metal details to a large-scale model of the German twin-engine bomber. It is not a model but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail photo-etched accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The set brings fine metal parts picking out the external surface details of the airframe: small fittings, handles and exterior panels on a large-scale model of the German twin-engine AEG G.IV bomber biplane of the First World War in 1:32 scale.
The AEG G.IV was a German twin-engine bomber biplane of the First World War. It was powered by two inline engines and was used above all for tactical bombing behind the front line. A large airframe with two engine nacelles offers a whole range of surfaces suitable for refining external detail.
The etched parts are of thin sheet (brass or steel) on a common fret. Cut the individual parts off with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends exactly along the marked lines, ideally with a bender or a straight blade. Glue with cyanoacrylate; on larger areas two-part epoxy can be used for more time to set things in place. Degrease the flat sheet before painting and lay on a thin coat of primer, so that the fine relief stays sharp.
This is not a complete model of an aircraft. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit; it serves as a detail accessory to a base model.
