Eduard 1:32 Ar 196A-3 exterior is a photo-etched set for detailing the outside of a plastic model of the Arado Ar 196A-3 floatplane in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard focused on the outer surface of a plastic model of the Arado Ar 196A-3 floatplane in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket accessory with fine metal parts for truer covers, stiffeners and small fittings on the airframe as well as the floats.
The Arado Ar 196 was a German reconnaissance floatplane of the Second World War, which served as a shipboard machine launched by catapult from the surface ships of the Kriegsmarine. The A-3 version was among the most widespread. The design with its large floats and a number of stiffeners offers plenty of outer details for a photo-etched set to refine.
Nip the parts from the fret, clean them up and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); larger areas can be soldered. Make the bends over a sharp edge. Degrease the surface before painting and pick up the small features with tweezers.
This is an accessory, not a model. The airplane kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
