Eduard 1:32 B-17G landing flaps is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard for a faithful rendering of the landing flaps of the B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale serves for a detailed rendering of the landing flaps of the B-17G heavy bomber. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit. The metal parts make it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position together with the faithful inner structure that a plastic mold captures only in simplified form.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. The B-17G version was the most widespread and brought among other things a chin turret for defense against head-on attacks. In the large 1:32 scale, wings rendered in detail with the flaps lowered are among the striking features of a model.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade and make the bends in a bending tool. Glue the metal with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and coat it with a primer for metal before painting. Match the flaps to the shades of the lower as well as the upper surface of the wing, and try the assembly dry beforehand.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
