Reskit BRU-32 with the ADU-703 adapter in 1:32 scale is a resin set of underwing racks in four pieces. It serves to refine the armament of a model; it is not a kit of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory in 1:32 scale from the Reskit brand. According to the name it contains four pieces of the BRU-32 weapons rack together with the ADU-703 adapter. These are the parts that handle the attachment of carried armament and equipment under the fuselage and the wing. The set serves to replace coarser plastic parts or to add racks that are not in the base box. It is not a model of an aircraft or a set of missiles and bombs; check the contents beyond the name on the packaging.
The BRU-32 is a weapons rack used on carrier aircraft of the US Navy, typically on the F-14 Tomcat in the bomb-carrying role. The ADU-703 adapter is combined with it and widens the options for hanging further stores. In the large 1:32 scale these stores are strikingly big and their shape and small details affect the overall impression of a model considerably more than in the smaller scales, which is the main reason modelers reach for them.
Wash the castings in water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the seating surfaces, so that all four pieces hang in the same plane. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Painting is easier if you spray the parts while they are still on the block, before breaking them off. As a rule a base coat and a shade matching the underside of the aircraft are enough, together with a gentle emphasis of the edges and restrained traces of service. Do not forget to check that the racks are parallel to one another.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
