1:32 BÜCKER BÜ 131D-2/AERO C-4 - STAFF CAPT.FR.PEŘINA

AML camouflage masks for the Bücker Bü 131D-2 / Aero C-4 1:32

A set of self-adhesive painting masks from AML for a clean spraying of the camouflage scheme on a model of the Bücker Bü 131D-2 biplane, or rather of its Czechoslovak-built version, the Aero C-4, in 1:32 scale. The masks define the shapes of the blotches and the transitions of the color scheme, so that laborious marking out and taping directly on the model is no longer needed.

What the masks are for

The preformed templates transfer a complex camouflage pattern onto the wings and fuselage precisely and repeatably. Once the individual masks are in place you spray the colors in order from light to dark and obtain either hard or soft transitions depending on the airbrush setting. The set is usually tied to one particular machine including the period markings of its pilot.

Usage tips

• First spray the surface with the base color of the scheme and let it dry through.
• Lay the masks on according to the enclosed plan and mind the correct order of the shades.
• Press the edges of the masks down so that paint does not run under the edge.
• Allow enough drying time between the coats.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the large 1:32 scale with a demanding camouflage pattern.
• Those interested in interwar and postwar biplane trainers.
• Those who prefer masking to freehand spraying.

This is an accessory for a model, not the kit itself. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
