Czechoslovak pilots on the Il-2M3 – 1:32 is a set of wet decals from AML for models of the Ilyushin Il-2M3 attack aircraft in the colors of Czechoslovak airmen on the Eastern Front.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide (wet) decals in 1:32 scale focused on the two-seat Ilyushin Il-2M3 attack aircraft flown by Czechoslovak airmen on the Eastern Front. It lets you build a model with the markings of this less common chapter of Czechoslovak military history. Painting masks are usually included with the AML series. This is not a kit but an accessory for the plastic model of your choice.
The Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik was the most widely built attack aircraft of the Second World War. The Il-2M3 version had a two-seat cockpit with a rear gunner and swept, cranked wings for better handling. The heavily armored fuselage protected the pilot and the engine during low-level attacks on ground targets. Czechoslovak airmen flew these machines with the units fighting alongside the Red Army in the closing stage of the war.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss coat so that no silvering appears. Dip the cut-out part briefly in lukewarm water, slide it off the backing onto the model, adjust its position and blot the excess water away. Use a decal softener to make it cling to the engraved lines and seal the surface with a final clear coat. Stick the enclosed masks onto a clean coat and spray the paint over them.
This is a stand-alone decal set. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
