This sheet of decals in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker AML brings the markings of the Supermarine Spitfires that flew with No. 312 (Czechoslovak) Fighter Squadron RAF. The second part of the series offers the distinguishing marks for particular machines of the unit. AML is a Czech maker whose decals are marked by accurate register and a thin film.
No. 312 Squadron was one of the Czechoslovak fighter squadrons fighting within the RAF in the Second World War. The set holds the personal and unit markings of the squadron's Spitfires, code letters and national insignia included, so that a model gains the authentic identity of a machine with a Czechoslovak crew.
Coat the base with gloss varnish so that the edge of the film does not catch the light. Release the decal in warm water, place it in position and press the remaining water out with a soft cloth; a decal softener will help it into the engraved detail. Unify the work with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
