The HGW 1:32 Felixstowe F.2a masking set for spraying the glazing and the markings of a model of this British flying boat precisely and quickly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cut masking set in 1:32 scale intended for a model of the large British Felixstowe F.2a flying boat. It is neither a kit nor decals but self-adhesive masks that cover the canopy glazing while spraying and that can also help with sharp transitions in the sprayed finish. The masks follow the shape of the framing of this type, so the laborious cutting of tape is unnecessary.
The Felixstowe F.2a was a biplane flying boat of the Royal Naval Air Service from the First World War period. It served for long-range patrols over the North Sea, for hunting submarines and for escort duties. It was marked by a sturdy boat hull and the large span of the upper wing.
Stick the masks onto clean and degreased glazing, press the edges down and apply the paint in thin coats. Once dry, lift them off carefully. For clean edges it is advisable to spray the edge first with the interior color or with varnish.
This is a modeling accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
