A decal sheet in 1:32 for German fighters of the First World War, for the unit known by the name Flying Circus.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal set in 1:32 aims at German fighters of the First World War, specifically at the formation Jagdgeschwader I. The name Flying Circus became attached to this unit, earned by the strikingly colorful finishes of its machines. Color schemes from this period are among the most rewarding subjects a modeler can render on a biplane, and in the large 1:32 scale they show to best effect.
This is a decal sheet for completing a plastic model. Which particular machines are covered on the sheet, and how the individual elements are placed over the airframe, are given in the instructions enclosed with the set.
Before applying them, check in the instructions whether this is a self-adhesive version. A self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined, whereas a waterslide decal can be soaked afterwards. With a waterslide sheet, cut the element out, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until the film releases from the backing paper. Apply onto smooth gloss varnish, blot the surplus water away with a soft cloth and dose the softener sparingly, so that the thin film does not wrinkle. Large flat elements are better divided into smaller parts and applied step by step.
The sheet is for modelers who build aircraft of the First World War period in a large scale and want to finish a model in the colors of a well known fighter unit. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
