Techmod 1:32 German Balkenkreuze is a set of waterslide decals with German bar crosses, that is the national insignia of German military aircraft, in 1:32.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals from the Polish manufacturer Techmod in 1:32 with German bar crosses, in German Balkenkreuz. It is a universal set of national insignia, not a kit: the decals are applied to a model that is already built and painted. You will use a sheet like this when the box lacks markings for the variant you want, when the original decals have been damaged, or when you are building several machines of the same nationality and want uniform printing.
The Balkenkreuz is an equal-armed cross with short broad arms, used as the national marking of German military aircraft. It was applied to the sides of the fuselage and to the upper and lower surfaces of the wings. Its form changed over time: besides solid black with a white border, variants with a narrowed white field or with an outline only were also used, which were less conspicuous on a camouflaged surface. The placement and the size of the insignia differed according to the type of aircraft and the period in which the machine was in service. The particular make-up of sizes and forms on the sheet is stated on the manufacturer's packaging.
The crosses are geometrically regular and any skew shows on a model at once, so it helps to mark the axis lightly on the surface with a pencil that can be wiped off later. Apply them onto a gloss coat with plenty of water so that a decal can still be aligned. Over an engraved line or the edge of a fuselage use a softener and let the film dry without moving it again. Finally close the surface with a matte coat.
This is a separate set of decals. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
