A decal sheet with printing that imitates light wood in a yellow tone, in 1:32 scale. It replaces the laborious hand painting of a wood pattern.
Responsibility details are not available.
A wood pattern is among the hardest things to paint on a model. The growth rings have to be fine and regular and at the same time not mechanically identical, and over a large area every inaccuracy shows. This sheet brings a finished print of light wood in a yellow tone, worked up for 1:32 scale, that is, with the pattern reduced so that it does not look coarse on the model.
On surfaces that were of plywood or veneer on the real machine, and on the wooden parts of an interior, that is, above all on older aircraft with a wooden structure. In the large 1:32 scale such surfaces are extensive and decide the impression the whole model makes. No particular aircraft type is stated here, so measure the parts against the surfaces of your model and cut them out yourself.
These are wet decals. First level the base, paint it and coat it with gloss varnish: on a smooth glossy surface the decal will not go matte and no silvered edges will appear under it. Soak the cut-out piece in lukewarm water for a few seconds, let it rest until the print releases, and slide it off the paper into place. Blot the excess water away with a soft cloth and on shaped surfaces use a softener, so that the print presses down onto the detail. Once it is perfectly dry, coat it with matte or semi-matte varnish.
The model kit, paints, varnishes and softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
