The fabric cockpit seatbelts HGW 1:32 LVG C.VI replace plastic or decal belts with faithful fabric parts of microtextile with photo-etched fittings.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail set of cockpit seat belts, not a model of the airplane. It replaces flat plastic or decal belts with faithful parts of real microtextile (microfiber) completed by photo-etched fittings and buckles. It is intended for large-scale models of the German two-seat biplane the LVG C.VI of the First World War in 1:32 scale.
In the open cockpits of a two-seat machine in a large scale the seat belts are clearly visible and flat plastic or a decal is unconvincing. The HGW fabric belts have the real structure of a woven material, can be bent and drape naturally over the seats of both crew members. Photo-etched metal buckles add fine detail; the fabric resists the ordinary, non-aggressive preparations used in modeling.
Choose the shade of the belt, cut the parts out along the marked line with a sharp knife and then shorten them to the length needed. Work the fabric briefly between your fingers for natural folds and thread it through the photo-etched buckles. Glue with PVA glue (white glue) and do not use super glue or any other aggressive glue, which could damage the fabric or the plastic.
This is not a complete model. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit; it serves as an accessory to a base model.
