A set of masking elements for a model of the Sukhoi Su-25UB ground-attack aircraft in 1:32 scale, the Blue 65 variant. Precisely cut shapes instead of laboriously cut tape.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sukhoi Su-25UB is the two-seat version of the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft, that is of a machine intended for close support of ground units. The seats are in tandem and the rear one is raised so that the instructor has a view forward. The cockpit is therefore longer and the glazing has more frames than on the single-seat version. Taping them up means an hour of work and there is still a risk that one frame will be a shade wider than its neighbor.
The masks are pre-cut parts that are stuck onto the area that is to stay free of paint. The shape matches the part, so the frames come out the same along their whole length and the edge is crisp. The set is tied to both the type and the scale, that is to models of the Su-25UB in 1:32 scale, and will not fit another size. The words Blue 65 set the variant apart within the range, and the exact extent of the set is given by the manufacturer in the instructions. Masks tend to be cut for one particular kit, so the target model is given by the manufacturer in the instructions too.
A set of masks is supplied. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
