A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks from HGW intended for the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 in the large 1:32 scale. The masks are stuck onto the frames of the canopy glazing and when spraying they ensure sharp edges with no paint creeping under. In a large scale, where every frame is clearly visible, a precisely cut set brings a cleaner result than masking with tape. Circular tire masks for a clean transition between the tire and the wheel disc are usually included.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 is among the most widespread versions of the famous German fighter. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine, and the bulges on the cowling, the Beulen, covering the breeches of the synchronized larger-caliber machine guns became almost a signature feature. The G-6 served on every front of the second half of the war.
