Big Ed from the Czech maker Eduard is a pack in which several separate accessories for one particular model are brought together under a single designation. In large scales the extent of the accessories tends to be such that it is split into two parts — this item is the second of them and is intended for a model of the F-100F Super Sabre in 1:32 scale. The first part is a separate item and the two can be used independently.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was an American jet aircraft of the 1950s, following on in design terms from the Sabre line. The two-seat F-100F version has two seats one behind the other, a lengthened canopy and corresponding changes to the forward fuselage. In 1:32 scale the model is fairly large, so even small details tell on it that would disappear in smaller scales.
Cut the photo-etched parts on a hard surface with a sharp knife and sand the remains of the tabs down. For bending, use a bender or two razor blades, as you will never get a straight edge with your fingers. Glue with thin superglue applied with a pin in tiny amounts; on larger areas a variant with a longer working time comes in handy. It is better to paint only after a part has been bent. Try every part dry first — in a large scale an inaccuracy shows at once. Then even the finished surfaces out with an overcoat of the sheen you want.
