QMT Not Weighted wheels F-4E/F/G, RF-4C/E late is a resin set of replacement wheels in 1:32 scale for models of the late versions of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. The wheels are made with no simulated load, that is with a full, unflattened tire outline.

This is a resin set of replacement landing gear wheels in 1:32 scale intended for kits of the late versions of the F-4 Phantom II in the F-4E, F-4F and F-4G variants and the reconnaissance RF-4C and RF-4E. The not weighted designation means that the tires have a full circular outline with no simulated load, so they are not flattened at the contact patch. The wheels are cast in resin and offer a sharper rendering of the tread and the hub detail than the parts from the box usually have.
The F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat supersonic multirole combat aircraft which became one of the most widespread Western fighters of the Cold War. The late E, F and G versions and their reconnaissance variants were marked by changes to the airframe and the landing gear; the exact form of the wheels corresponds to these later types.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The hubs and the tires are usually painted separately; a matte black-gray cast for the tire is completed by fine highlighting of the tread.
This is a supplementary set, not a model of an airplane. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
