HGW 1:32 Parabellum is a brass photo-etched set for a faithful rendering of the German Parabellum aircraft machine gun. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory for the armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
A brass photo-etched set from HGW in 1:32 scale intended for detailing the German Parabellum aircraft machine gun. Fine photo-etched parts replace and complete the coarser plastic parts of the weapon - the barrel cooling jacket, the sights, the grips and other small elements that give the weapon a realistic look. It is an accessory, not an airplane model.
The Parabellum was a German aircraft machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber used in the First World War above all as the observer's movable defensive weapon on two-seat and multi-seat aircraft. It was marked by a high rate of fire and, in its aircraft form, by a lightened design with a characteristic barrel cooling jacket.
The photo-etched parts are separated from the fret with a sharp knife on a cutting mat, shaped with a bender or a ruler and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The cylindrical cooling jacket is rolled around a suitable mandrel so that it holds a regular shape. Before painting it is worth degreasing the metal and going over it with a base coat for better adhesion.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The aircraft kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
