Pine Tree - Base White 1:32 (HGW, wood imitation)

A decal imitation of a wooden pine-pattern texture in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW. The Base White version is opaque, so the resulting shade always stays the same and the decal can be applied even to an unpainted surface with a white base under it. It makes it possible to create a very convincing imitation of wood without having to master oil glazes and the painting of growth rings.

Use

• Prepare the surface smooth and lay a white paint under it, which can be polished before the decal is applied.
• Cut out the shape of the panel you need with an overlap of about 2 mm.
• Apply it like an ordinary decal; decal softeners and setting solutions are recommended.
• Trim the overlapping edges with a very sharp knife once it is dry.

For builders of biplanes and models from the era of the First World War in 1:32 scale who want a realistic wooden surface on the fuselage, the wings or the propellers. Suited to modelers who do not feel up to painting wood by hand as well.

This is neither a model nor a kit but a decal imitation of wood. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
