This is NOT a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory. The set contains turned metal barrels for the gun armament and a pitot tube for the Shenyang J-6/F-6 in 1:32 scale. The metal parts replace the plastic ones and give the model sharp, realistic detail.
The Shenyang J-6 (F-6 on export) is the Chinese license-built version of the Soviet supersonic fighter MiG-19. It carried cannon armament and was widely used by the PLAAF and by a number of foreign operators. The pitot tube on the leading edge or the nose is characteristic of the shape of this aircraft.
Glue the metal barrels and the pitot with cyanoacrylate into drilled holes. Deburr the parts and before gluing verify their position against the documentation. A metal pitot is stronger and holds its shape better than a thin plastic part.
This is a metal detail accessory, not an aircraft kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
