An aftermarket set of tiny brass photo-etched parts from HGW in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but a universal accessory – a set of fine eyelets that imitate the attachment points of the wire spokes on the hubs and rims of the wheels of period aircraft. They help to reach a faithful look for spoked wheels where a plastic casting stays coarse.
Spoke eyelets are used for detailing the hubs and rims of wheels, and as an aid when stretching wire spokes. The result is a finer and more realistic wheel that matches the real construction better.
Given the very small dimensions of the parts, tweezers, a sharp knife and cyanoacrylate glue applied in a minimal amount are advisable. Separate the parts carefully so that they are not lost.
The aircraft kit itself is not included in the package. Glue, paints and tools are not enclosed.
