This is NOT a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory. The set contains turned metal armament barrels of the early build of the E type wing for the Supermarine Spitfire in 1:32 scale. It replaces the soft plastic parts from the box with accurate metal barrels that give the model a sharp and realistic look.
The E type wing carried a mixed armament: two 20 mm Hispano cannons and two 12.7 mm Browning machine guns, whose muzzles were covered by aerodynamic fairings. The early build differs from the later version in the details of the layout and in the shape of the barrels. This armament arrangement appeared on the later versions of the Spitfire in the Second World War.
The metal barrels are fitted into drilled holes in the leading edge of the wing, ideally with cyanoacrylate. Deburr the parts and before gluing compare their position against the documentation for the particular aircraft. The metal stands up to fine sanding and to ordinary painting in metallic shades.
This is a metal detail accessory, not an aircraft kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
