A display base for a 1:72 model with the Italian flag is an acrylic board printed in color, 280 x 180 mm in size and 3 mm thick. It puts finished work on a flat and presentable area.

An acrylic sheet 3 mm thick has been given a print of the Italian national colors over its whole area. The usable format comes to 280 x 180 mm at a weight of 170 g and suits an ordinary shelf display case, where tall diorama builds get in the way. The brand Kelik has its seat in Ukraine.
The green, white and red stripes appeared in Italy as early as 1797 and since the unification of the country have remained without any fundamental change. The order is firmly set: green at the hoist, red at the free edge. This detail tends to be a source of small errors in modeling photographs, because it is easily mistaken for the Mexican or the Irish flag.
The deep green stripe stands out well under hardware finished in gray, whereas a desert camouflage merges with the white field. It proves worthwhile to seat the machine so that its nose points into the red part and the shadow falls on the white center. Anyone who takes the base to shows will appreciate that it fits flat into a bag between boards. Once cleaned it will also serve as a clear area for laying small parts out during a build.
The consignment holds exclusively the board; nothing else belongs with it.
