The United Tractor GC340 is a small four-wheel airfield tug used to tow and handle aircraft and trailers on handling areas and in hangars. It was operated by a number of branches of the American armed forces as well as by civil airfields. The version with a cab protected the crew in bad weather; the US NAVY/DLA markings refer to service with the navy and the supply agency.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal, followed by a patina of washes and pigments for working wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
