A resin model of a hand pallet truck of the US Navy in 1:32 scale with a capacity of five thousand five hundred pounds. It is an accessory of airfield and store handling, not an aircraft model. A pallet truck is used to handle pallets of cargo on the apron, in a hangar and in a store.
A hand pallet truck is the basic aid for moving loads on pallets. The forks slide under the pallet, the hydraulics lift the load and the operator wheels it to the right place. In the navy version it served to handle material on decks as well as at land bases.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. The metal parts are brought to life by highlights in the paint, rubs and a light patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
