This is not an airplane model but a resin set of accessories. The package holds two pieces of the Vickers aircraft machine gun with a loading handle in the Hyland type E form. The parts replace the simplified armament of plastic kits and give it a faithful look.
The Vickers was a British water-cooled machine gun which in its synchronized aircraft version became the standard fixed armament of First World War fighters. Hyland type loading handles let the pilot work the weapon from the cockpit; type E is one of the particular forms of that handle.
The parts are cast in resin and are intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting gates off carefully and bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The cooling jacket and the metal parts come out well after painting and a fine patina.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
