A set of photo-etched seat belts for the Japanese naval fighters of the N1K family in 1:32 scale from FineMolds. A detail accessory for the cockpit, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory. It is a set of photo-etched seat belts for the seats of the Japanese naval fighters of the N1K family in the Second World War, in 1:32 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds. It is the second set in the series, prepared for the floatplane fighter known under the Allied designation Rex and for the land-based fighter George. At the large scale the detail of the belts stands out particularly well.
The set brings fine photo-etched seat belts with true rendering of the buckles and the fittings. They are fitted on the pilot's seat and refine the look of the cockpit, which is clearly visible at the large scale. It is intended for the naval fighters of the N1K family.
Separate the photo-etched belts carefully and shape them so that they drape naturally over the seat. A drop of cyanoacrylate (super glue) is enough to hold them. Give the belts a primer first, paint them in the shade of period fabric and bring out the buckles in a metal shade. A light wash will deepen the detail of the fittings.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
