A flag is a small thing in a scene that carries a great deal of information. It tells who holds the place, it adds a note of color in otherwise earthy surroundings and it gives the eye a point to settle on. This set offers flags with anarchist symbols and suits anywhere it should be clear from the first moment who a building or a barricade belongs to.

A flag never hangs like a board. Before you fix it, give it a slight ripple and let the lower edge drape so that it shows the fabric is being lifted by the wind. Separate the motif with a sharp blade along a metal ruler so that the edge stays straight. Prepare the staff from thin wire or a taut filament and offer the flag up to it so that it overhangs on one side only. If you are going to tone the surface, try the procedure on an offcut.
