A detail part in 1:35 scale that adds the belly armor to a model of the Israeli heavy armored personnel carrier Nagmashot. It is not a vehicle kit and not a conversion set - it is one specific element that a basic kit usually does not contain. The silhouette of the vehicle changes visibly with it, because the armor lifts the lower outline of the hull above the ground.
The Nagmashot was created by rebuilding the chassis of the Centurion tank into a heavily armored carrier for use where an ordinary armored personnel carrier is not enough. The add-on floor armor is a response to the threat of a blast under the vehicle - it is a massive plate under the hull meant to catch the blast wave and fragments before they reach the crew compartment. The figure in the name refers to the thickness of the version the part represents; vehicles appeared with armor of various thicknesses.
The part is fitted from below, so the decisive step is a dry fit before you close the hull up and fit the running gear - once the suspension is finished the area is hard to reach. Wash the mold release agent off the casting, cut the casting block off with a saw and level the mating surface on abrasive paper laid on glass; a large flat surface reveals every irregularity. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, which on a part of this size should be applied over the whole area and pressed down, so that no gap appears. When painting, remember that the underside of a vehicle is the dirtiest part of a model: base color, then a heavier layer of earth and dust and a dry brush on the edges that scrape the ground. If you plan to display the model on a mirror or on a stand, give the underside the same care as the top.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
