RB model 1:35 - turned metal 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 gun barrel for the Tiger II heavy tank with the Porsche turret. A detail-up accessory for Takom kits, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal gun barrel in 1:35 scale from RB model, intended to replace the plastic barrel on a model of the German Tiger II (Tiger B) heavy tank in the version with the Porsche turret. This is not a tank model, but a detail-up accessory: the precisely turned long barrel has a clean muzzle, the correct profile and a true axis, which a plastic part achieves only with difficulty.
The 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 gun, with a long barrel 71 calibers in length, was the main armament of the German Tiger II heavy tank (also known as the Konigstiger) at the end of the Second World War. Early vehicles carried the turret of Porsche design with its characteristic rounded front; this gun was among the most effective tank guns of its day.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
