All-purpose single pulley 1:35 from the Polish maker Aber. A set of two turned metal pulleys for lifting and recovery equipment on models of vehicles and in dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal detail accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Aber, which specializes in turned and photo-etched parts. The package holds two pieces of a single pulley, that is a body with one guide sheave. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a separate part with which you replace a coarse plastic molding or add an element that is not in the base kit at all.
The pulley is deliberately a general-purpose element. It comes into its own on the recovery and tow cables of military vehicles, on the cranes and lifting frames of repair vehicles, on ship deck equipment and in construction and workshop dioramas. Because it is not tied to one particular type of vehicle, you will use it everywhere a cable or a chain runs over a sheave. The two pieces in the package cover one pair of cables or two separate points of a scene.
Separate the metal part with a fine file or a cutting disc, never with nippers. Degrease the surface with alcohol before painting and apply a metal primer, otherwise the paint holds badly. You will imitate the cable best with thin copper wire or braided steel wire that you really thread through the pulley - it is precisely a working run of cable that makes the greatest impression on a model. You will create the patina with a dark wash into the groove, a hint of rust from a pigment and light polishing of the edges with graphite.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and cable are not included in the package.
