MAiM Arabic Girl / Teenager, figure number 1 is a civilian figure in 1:35 scale from the MAiM series of civilian figures. An unobtrusive but effective element that breathes life into a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
An unpainted civilian figure of a young girl or teenager from the manufacturer MAiM in 1:35 scale, the first numbered variant from the series of civilian figures. It is ordinary inhabitants that turn scenery into a real place: a single well-placed civilian figure can change the whole meaning of a scene.
The figure fits into modern urban and rural subjects, streets, markets, yards, scenes from areas of contemporary conflict and quiet civilian pictures. The series of numbered variants can be combined into a little group of figures, while a single figure serves as a human scale beside a building or a vehicle in 1:35. It also suits collectors who paint civilian subjects as separate miniatures.
Deburr the casting, wash it and lay on a coat of primer. With a young figure, clean skin is the key, so use lighter tones with fine glazes; acrylic allows precise control, oil paints soft transitions. Treat the clothing in civilian colors with shaded folds; one small accent of color on the clothing will help the figure stand out in a scene.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a casting to be cleaned up and painted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
